A Cat Slicker Brush is used to remove loose hair and undercoat using specially designed 'Ball-Tipped' nylon pins. Work in small sections of your cat’s coat, without excessive pulling to avoid discomfort to your pet. Work with the lie of the hair and in the event of heavy matting, you will need to devote some time to gently free the mat using a dematting tool or knot remover. It may be more practical in this situation to groom your cat over several sessions, to avoid causing undue stress. Once the coat is fully dematted we suggest grooming with a cat comb to keep the coat aligned and in good shape.
